Paraguay and Argentina • South America • 14 min • 2019
Synopsis
Produced in February 2019, between Asunción in Paraguay and Córdoba in Argentina. The area around the Paraguay River and the Paraná River concentrates the most severe storms on the planet, according to the scientific journal Nature.
In this region, rainfall systems are strongly correlated with the clash between the flow of moisture coming from the Amazon and the cold, dry fronts arriving from Antarctica.
